Magic Hour, also known as the golden hour, refers to the time of day around sunrise and sunset when the lighting conditions are optimal for photography and cinematography. During this period, typically when the sun is between 6 degrees below the horizon to 6 degrees above, the sunlight is evenly dispersed, resulting in stunning pictures.

Magic Hour provides a convenient solution for tracking and managing this special time. The app takes into account your location and the current day to calculate the precise moments of magic hour. Additionally, if available, the app also provides you with weather forecasts.

In addition to capturing the enchanting golden hour light, Magic Hour also offers features related to lunar photography. Our Moon Watch section informs you about upcoming moonrises and predicts when the next full moon will appear.

Moreover, the app allows you to set up notifications for moments before and during magic hour. With our in-app purchase option, you can choose locations beyond your current one, access future magic hour times, and even create calendar events to ensure you never miss these golden opportunities.

It's important to note that all data used by the Magic Hour App, such as locations, notifications, and calendar events, remain strictly local to your device. There is no transmission or remote storage of this information.
